About Me

Lucy is a Charleston, South Carolina native who is inspired by seasonal ingredients, community roots, and whimsical floral design. She eats, sleeps, dreams, (and never stops talking about) CAKE!

After 5 years in the television industry in New York, she pivoted into the cooking world through culinary assisting and recipe development for Does This Taste Funny?, a cookbook published by Celadon Books, on shelves September 17, 2024. There, she found a new chapter of her career had begun and dove straight into pastry work, recipe developing, and styling, in the New York food world.

In April of 2024, she started selling custom cakes after folks at a friend’s birthday party asked to buy the cake she made for the gathering. She is now based both in Brooklyn Heights, and Sullivans Island, SC and welcomes a cake request to help you celebrate both the special and ordinary days in your life.
