About Me

Lucy is a Charleston, South Carolina native who is inspired by seasonal ingredients, community roots, and whimsical floral design. She eats, sleeps, dreams, (and never stops talking about) CAKE!

After 5 years in the television industry in New York, she pivoted into the cooking world through culinary assisting and recipe development for Does This Taste Funny?, a cookbook published by Celadon Books, on shelves September 17, 2024. There, she found a new chapter of her career had begun and dove straight into pastry work in New York restaurants.

In April of 2024, she started selling custom cakes after folks at a friend’s birthday party asked to buy the cake she made for the gathering. She is now based both in Brooklyn Heights, and Sullivans Island, SC and welcomes a cake request to help you celebrate both the special and ordinary days in your life.
